How to Order

ALL ORDERS are place by emailing us. We do get many email request each day, so please allow time for us to respond. Thanks!

Or you can call us directly at (760) 322-CAKE (2253). We do not take custom cake orders over the phone. You must email us. Any staff who answers the phone will direct you to email us. 

PLEASE Check our Availability Schedule to make sure we are available to take you order. If we are booked out, then we cannot take on any more orders. 

The Availability Calendar is updated daily.

Note that orders are not considered final until confirmed by Over the Rainbow Cupcakes & Desserts. You will get a confirmation on the phone or email from us. Payment must be made in advance, no exceptions. If the customer has not paid for their cake/desserts, customer is not confirmed for their order. It is the customers responsibility to make sure payment is made in advance.

Cake and dessert orders that are cancelled by the customer with less than 1 week notice are 100% NON refundable, no exceptions. 

What happens if customer forgets about their order?

For pickups: In the event that you forget to pick up your order we will try our best to give you a call, however we cannot guarantee any reminders. We are a busy bakery and it is the customer's responsibility to pickup when they have designated. We do not issue refunds for orders that are already made and not picked up by customers.

If we give you a call and you cannot get here by the time we close we will certainly hold your cake for pickup the following day we are open. If it has been more than 2 days and we have not heard from you regarding your pickup we will unfortunately have to discard your order and no refunds will be given.

For deliveries: Someone must be present to receive the delivery on all orders. In the event that we cannot complete the delivery no one is available we will contact you via phone. If we cannot reach you via phone we will have to return the order to our shop. If we return to our shop, you have the option for pickup. No refunds, no exceptions.

Do not assume that just because you emailed, you are confirmed. Bakery must confirm and payment made in advance. No exceptions. 

FOR WEDDINGS - Please note - The bakery is closed on Sunday and Mondays. We do take weddings for these days, but the minimum order is $1000. 

• Currently the bakery is open 
• Wednesday & Thursday from  11am - 4pm
• Friday & Saturday from 11am - 4pm 

You can email us for orders for other days and we will let you know, as we do make orders for other days.

WEDDING TASTINGS AND CONSULTATIONS INFORMATION -

The bakery is a small take out bakery, so we do not offer in person consultations.

You pick up samples to take with you to try during our normal business hours.

Please NOTE - We bake fresh throughout each day and the bakery reserves the right to close early if we sell out of our fresh baked goods. You can call to check with us (760) 322-2253. Thanks!
